Updates Available for MP Studio and MP Author Professional

Silect continues to deliver support for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and we are excited about our new v12.2 releases of MP Studio and MP Autor Professional. Our products have been helping simplify SCOM for over 20 years and version 12.2 delivers even more ways of simplifying working with SCOM. We are also introducing support for the new Silect Assistant to bring the power of AI to SCOM users.

What’s New in MP Studio 12.2

All the new capabilities and enhancements added to MP Author Professional v12.2 listed below plus the following:

  • Added support for the Silect Assistant (toggle under the View menu).
  • Pass context including current MP and element info to the Silect Assistant (so requests know what you are looking at).
  • Expanded the powerful SCOM Explorer feature by added Meaning and Type ID to allow searching on the contents of various elements.
  • Expanded MP authoring options by allowing fragments to be added to installed MPs in MP Studio as well as PowerShell.
  • Improved usability by adding Collapse All command added to the Store tree.
  • Added support for SQL Server 2025.

What’s New in MP Author Pro 12.2

Here’s a summary of changes to Silect MP Author Professional v12.2:

  • Various bug fixes and performance improvements.
  • Improvements when importing fragments.
  • Improvements to XML editing.
  • Improvements to the Manage Overrides dialog.
  • Removed support for SCOM 2016 (leaving 2019, 2022, and 2025).
